The State College Suzuki Program Summer Newsletter is available.

Fall tuition payment number 2 is due November 7th.

On Thursday, December 8th, the State College Suzuki Program will perform at Barnes & Noble in State College from 5:30-7:30 pm.  Ten percent of all purchases made will be donated to our organization; however, before you make your purchase, you must mention "State College Suzuki Program" or our book fair number: 103448100.

Please mark your calendars for December 8, and stop by Barnes and Noble to see young student musicians play piano, cello, violin and viola and learn more about our program.  Solo performances begin at 5:30 pm, and a group play-in will begin at 6:30 pm.  New classes begin January 2012!

Today, the Google Education Team upgraded the State College Suzuki Program Community site from the Standard Edition to the Education Edition.  This upgrade brings a wealth of new features formerly unavailable to our domain.
Google Apps is the engine that drives the State College Suzuki Program community site.  Until today, we would have been unable to support more than 50 users.  With this upgrade, we can support up to 3000!

As of this post, only a small number of accounts are active.  We hope to remedy that by Back to Suzuki Night in the Fall of 2010 and provide an account to every parent of a student, all faculty and board members.

The State College Suzuki Program has established services in partnership with Google Apps to provide

• Domain email addresses (for example, Irene.Bernstein@suzukistatecollege.org)
• Shared calendars,
• Mailing lists,
• Online access to Suzuki Method resources,
  
• Member-maintained web sites.
