Welcome to the State College Suzuki Program! The State College Suzuki
Program offers an invaluable opportunity for a child to grow musically,
intellectually, and socially. By learning a musical instrument through
the Suzuki Method your child will learn to become a well-rounded
musician with exceptional aural skills (listening, singing, audiating),
deeply developed physical motor skills, and confidence to play from
memory in front of large audiences. By participating in group class,
your child will learn how to interact with others not only socially but
also musically. Every step along the way requires hard work,
determination, and persistence therefore giving you, your child, and
your family something can be truly proud of. At the State College Suzuki
Program we are all a team. The Teacher, Student, Parent Triangle does
not stop at the end of the individual lessons. Rather, it extends
throughout the entire program, forming a large, overarching supportive
structure of Faculty, Students, and Parents. This environment of
support and positive teaching gives the children the opportunity for
great success. Learning a musical
instrument is challenging and not easy. Some weeks lessons and practice
may be fun-filled and a joy, while some weeks may be hard and tedious.
It is the journey that makes the end result worth the effort. If at any time you have questions, feel free to contact us at info@suzukistatecollege.org or click here. |
