Music Instruction
The State College Suzuki Program offers Suzuki Method instruction for all ages in:
Instruction includes, each week:
- one private lesson, and
- one group lesson.
There are two, 16-week semesters per year.
Public Performance Opportunities
Every year the State College Suzuki Program offers many public and private performance opportunities.
We host several solo recitals, the annual Fill Up the Food Bank Benefit Concert, an End-of-the-Year Concert, many outreach programs focusing on the State College community, play-ins, and other fun musical activities.
Parent Support
Parent involvement is the key to successful music instruction. For this reason, we provide a high level of support for parents of our students unlike that offered by any other music program in the State College area. Our support comes in many forms and includes:
- Back to Suzuki Night -- Meet and talk with the faculty, board and other parents.
- Parent Training -- for both new and experienced parents.
- Parent-to-Parent Interaction -- meet and talk with other parents at group lessons and performances.
- Online Parent Support Forum -- Post questions and get answers from experienced parents!
- Online Resources -- Information for parents and student instructional aids.

The best way to learn about our program and the Suzuki method is to come see it yourself. Schedule a visit with us for you and your child to see the program in action. Meet with teachers who will explain the program fully and answer your questions.

- We will then contact you to discuss the possibility of instruction and to arrange a meeting time and some observations.
